Bug #6053

Description
I used the latest chirp release, CHIRP daily-20180815, but I get unexpected behavior with two Leixen vv898, v1.0.7 and two Leixen vv898 v1.0.8 radios.
It seems to be related to the fact that there are two memory banks of 100 each.
The channel plan seems to load ok, and I can read it back ok. However, when I operate the radio, the display has my channels scattered across different memory locations. I suppose Bank A and Bank B. I cannot make sense of this. The vendor told me to use the Leixen software, however, I am unable to set the comm ports to get to the radio, as all is greyed out.
I have never had any kind of problem with older versions of the Leixen vv898 using Chirp.
As it is, these radios will go back to the vendor. Life is just too short to screw around with bad products.
