I read the instructions above:

Description

Some Amateur and commercial repeaters operate with a different PL tone for receive than transmit.
Radios sold for ham use rarely support it, but ones sold for commerical users do.
E.g. the Baofeng UV-3r Mark II.
Currently CHIRP reads only the transmit PL.
I don't know if any of the other radios supported by CHIRP support it or not.

This is a feature, not a bug. It has been discussed many times and I know it's a shortcoming that affects a very small subset of users. I'll leave this open until I get around to it.

Support for this with the Wouxun radios is in the queue for tomorrow. I'll look at the Baofeng soon.

Thank you. It now reads the radio properly, identifies the cross tones, but only shows one of them in the GUI. If you save the file as a CSV file it shows up there.
I have not tried writing to the radio yet.

Am I doing something wrong?

Geoff.

Oops, sorry, forgot to expose that field for the Baofeng. Fixed for tomorrow.

Thanks!
