I read the instructions above:

Description

For each of the fields in Edit Memory window and the bigger Memories window, for each drop down box have a none. this will make reading what each lines does easier. Right now it is an off/on via another field.

For example, if I have Tone mode=None, but I have Tone=88.5 and ToneSQL=103.5, i know that the use of Tone is off.. but that is not displayed in the application.

The Tone field shows precisely what is stored in the radio for Tone, whether it is active or not.

If you want Chirp to only show you the in-use columns, choose View > Hide Unused Fields. Now the Tone and ToneSql values will only display for channels which they are enabled.

the software that comes with the radio allows a none or a blank. it would be nice to have CHIRP do this so that when viewing the channels in CHIRP there is a clean look.

Chris,

This is core behavior in chirp. Go do view->hide unused fields for the "look" you want.

Thanks!
