- Equipment Loan/Gift Offered changed from No to Yes
It depends on your location relative to a developer, but I would estimate one week each way for shipping and one week for development, for a total of 3 weeks. This could be expedited if you wanted to pay for overnight shipping.

excellent.. i'm in kirkland, wa. I need address to ship to.

I'm down in Tacoma, and Dan is in Portland. Not sure which one of us will accept this, but either way shipping will be quick. Alternatively, I'll be at the Seattle Mountaineers clubhouse on the 17th if you want to chuck the radios across the lake :-) Haven't decided yet if I'll attend Microhams this year.
What we will need is:
Radio¶
Programming cable¶
Icom programming software (for snooping serial commands)¶
Dan may already have 2 and 3 because he has worked on Icoms before, but I have neither. You can call me (KD7LXL) on 147.300+ 88.5Hz if you want to talk about it. I'm nearly always monitoring.

I'm not sure if I have the right cable for that guy or not, but definitely not the software. You should do this one! :)

Chris,
If you agree to Rules For Loaning A Radio, you can ship radio, programming cable, and Icom software to me:
Tom Hayward
4205 N Pearl St
Tacoma, WA 98407
I'd appreciate some sort of confirmation before you ship--no surprises.

I agree to the Rules. I have a friend that might be able to hand delivery the radios to you. Let me see what I can do to get that done in the next week or two. If longer than that I'll let you know.
Thanks
Chris

Ok, just a reminder, I'll be up at Magnuson Park all day tomorrow. I could meet you when I'm done (probably late afternoon).

Even better. I have no plans and am free after 4pm.
If you send me an email with your cell, I'll reply with mine.
Thanks

oh.. and I plan on including a 3nd radio. It is a ICOM F60V. it should be identical to the F50V for commands, the only difference being the supported frequency ie 400-520mhz rather than 136-174mhz
The flip side should also be true between the F50 and F60. Unfortunately I don't have a F60 to let you borrow.

- % Done changed from 0 to 10
I've started on the F50V and have most of the memory decoded, but I still have some significant problems left to solve. The memory length fluctuates based on the number of channels programmed, or at least appears to. Chirp doesn't have a good way to handle this. Also, the scan list system is much more advanced than Chirp is designed for, but I might be able to adapt the bank feature to support scan lists.

Ran out of time. I've got most of the decode done if anyone wants to take this on.
