CHIRP

More of a feature request, but here's the scoop.. I've gotten my VXA-700 unlocked! And I'm providing information here to help the CHIRP team decode this SOFTWARE unlock and hopefully reproduce it!

Just a sanity download before starting anything
VXA-700-BLANK-BEFORE.img and .log
I did a full reset on the radio then did a download to Chirp so we start with a clean slate.
VXA-700-BLANK-UNLOCKED.img and .log
I used the CE56 programming software from Yaesu (pain in the ass btw) and the .C56 file that I found and YES! it worked! My radio can now TX on 137.000 through 165.000! I then did another reset on the radio, verified I could still TX everywhere and downloaded that into Chirp.
VXA-700-FULL-UNLOCKED.img (no log sorry)
I used the BLANK-UNLOCKED above and pasted all my memories in from before I did the first reset, then uploaded that to the radio, sadly I retained the ability to TX on the expanded frequencies, however the memories on ANY frequencies give me "ERROR" so it's probably related to that other issue that there's already a ticket about...

Using the also attached VXA700-ul.py I was able to restore VXA-700-BEFORE.img and regained the ability to TX on the normal 2M memories, but lost the ability to use the VFO to TX on the 137 through 165 expanded frequencies.. Still using the VXA700-ul.py I re-uploaded VXA-700-FULL-UNLOCKED.img and regained the ability to use VFO to TX on the expanded frequencies, but none of the 2M memories are able to TX, the AIR band memories work fine.

I hope all this makes sense and helps, unfortunately right now I can't get my memories to work AND the unlock, it's one or the other!
