Description

I followed the instructions. I tried multiple times, with computer reboots and radio power cycles inbetween. I always get the same error. Radio flashes in the process.

Debug log from CHIRP attached, along with pictures of the radio and screenshots of the error.

I was able to program the radio using the manufacturer's software, so I don't think it's a question of the radio being dead, or the cable being wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Issue reported to seller on Amazon as well, but no response from them after a couple months.

Also tried a few newer versions of CHIRP, up to daily-20191109, same result.

Today I upgraded to CHIRP daily-20191221 and the issue seems to be resolved. I could download from the radio, no problem. And then I could upload, no problem. Thanks, and happy new year!

Yes. It was resolved by adding the new MCU Version back on December 17, 2019. See issue #7477.
