Description
I think I may have another UV-82 with a new or currently non-supported firmware version. I can't seem to connect/download. I know my cable and radio are communicating as I can download/upload with the Baofeng's software. Label on radio just says UV-82 and S/N UV82043547. It is a three power model - bought on Amazon. When holding down 3 button I get Ver NUV82. When holding down 6 I get 190831M. This doesn't seem to follow the normal Firmware posts I've seen.
NOT a big deal as I can program with their software. I can imagine keeping up with all the firmware is a nightmare! Just wanted to report it.

Hey Dave, if you provide an email I can provide a file that Jim gave to me regarding an update that hasnt made it into CHIRP yet?

A patch was just submitted and accepted that should resolve this issue.

Jim just wanted to followup that the fixed worked for this radio. Using the UV-82HP (since it's a three power model) I was able to down load and upload. Thanks again!
