Description
When I try to specify a different save directory, I get the error message: "Could not read the contents of [directory name]" Followed by "Error opening directory [directory path]"
As such, I am only able to save files in the default home level of my user directory.
But then, when I attempt to open the saved file, I get the error message "[filename] image not recognized."
New user. Not sure if this is one bug or two. Assistance appreciated.

I'm not a Mac user, and can't give too much support; have you been able to resolve this on your own since you submitted the ticket?
