Description

The Baofeng UV-9Rplus can be programmed using the Vendor: Baofeng and Model: UV-82WP selections. Unlike the majority of the so-called "waterproof" models that only display 6-character channel names, the UV-9Rplus can display 7-character channel names. This request is for adding support for the UV-9R and 7-character channel names.

Can confirm that your latest revision (3292:7d6d6c03ba3a) built in CHIRP daily-20200103 works fine with a "Baofeng UV9R-ERA" labelled radio.

Can upload and download with 7-character channel names.

Thanks. I added the UV-9R PLUS and UV-9R ERA to the Supported Radio Models list.
