Description
I have a Wouxon KG-UV2D and it is listed on the webpage. I have a new programming cable with the current chip, not the prolific. I can download from the radio but the option to upload to radio is grayed out.

Are you trying to upload after you downloaded from the radio? You need to do that, otherwise the menu item for upload will stay grayed out.
A log file would be helpful, please attach (please see Wiki: How To Report Issues).
