Description
My kenwood TM 281 self identifies as a TM271 and when you go to use the download and select 281 it basically shows a zero display and locks the comm port.
Changing the radio identifier to TM271 bypasses this and make CHIRP work as designed.
Serial Number of TX is B3500132 Model TM281A

Unfortunately, your radio identifies itself as TM-271
