Description

First, thank you for a great piece of software. I have been using this for some time and find it an immense timesaver and excellent tool.

I am running the latest version of Chirp on Windows 10. Once attempting to download my config from my radio, Chirp starts the download pop-up window and immediately errors out with the enclosed error. I read of a similar issue, https://chirp.danplanet.com/issues/8109, but trying the downloaded .py file, it was still not able to resolve my issue.

I believe the key log data is posted below. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information or assistance!

Thank you,
Chris

I was able to add a new radio type 778UV-P and it was able to download the config. Enclosing file for your consideration. I will continue to update as needed.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

This ticket is duplicate to #8859. I have already submitted a patch, related to that ticket, that supports the new models with VOX. It is currently in the queue waiting for approval. Once approved, CHIRP will natively support both the AnyTone AT-778UV and Retevis RT95 models with VOX.

I also have a test patch available there for everyone to use while waiting for the submitted patch is approved.
