Description

Have downloaded and installed latest version of chirp and Python runtime on my MacBook running OSX Big Sur. Radios will download its frequencies but I cannot save lost as get error message '' no access '' despite giving chirp ''full disc access'' and also can't view ''radio settings '' just get a blank screen. And when I click back onto frequency list the programme freezes.
can you also advise how to remove the chirp software from MacBook ?
thanks

Since January 2020, CHIRP for macOS has been available as a MacOS Unified Application. The MacOS Unified Application does not require the installation of any additional Python runtime.

The KK7DS Python runtime is only required for macOS Legacy Application builds. There have been no macOS Legacy Application builds released since November 2020).

I wouldn't consider myself a macOS user. I do have a MacBook Air and have successfully installed and used CHIRP on it running under High Sierra (legacy), Mojave (legacy) and Catalina (unified). I have avoided upgrading to Big Sur so I currently have no direct experience with it.

Just downloaded the latest Unified rev today (11-4-21). I'm getting the same "no access" error as the OP. Have also added the app to Full Disk Access.

Running Big Sur 11.6. Won't be upgrading to Monterey for a while...
