Bug #9773
closedWouxun KG-UV9D - Unrecognized model variation (01). No memory map for it
100%
Description
Hi.
I have a UV9D radio but I can't read its memory. You see the radio, the cloning is going through, but I keep getting this error message " Unrecognized model variation (01). No memory map for it". The same was true for the previous program version. Is there anything I can do to change that?

I saw that you closed problem #9773, if I understand you made the change to accept the wouxon kg uv9d(E) model, I updated the software release, I use win7, I tried, but always the same error

- File kguv9dplus_new_rev_patch LEGACY.py added
Since you mentioned Win7 - I assume you are using Chirp-Legacy?
All new features are being released into Chirp Next which is available here.
https://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/download?stream=next
No new releases of Chirp Legacy are planned.
If you can't update to Chirp-Next, then you won't have the changes.
You will have to use the attached patch and load it after enabling developer mode from the Help Menu in Chirp-Legacy. Loading the patch will need to be done each and every time you start Chirp-Legacy.
