Description

Chirp will not downloads from the radio any data or information.

Error just says.
"Wrong Kenwood radio, ID or unknown variant, see LOG output."

Hi J,

The log you send is not useful, it's a normal run log, it doesn't contain the radio download attempt, but don't worry, follow the instructions below please.

  1. Connect your radio and programmer
  2. Fire Chirp
  3. Try to download the info from the radio (it will fail, etc..)
  4. Find the log and attach it here.

In this way the log will have the download attempt and details inside it.

Regarding your mail, I can't provide a empty codeplug/image as I don't have a radio of that model at hand now, and chirp doesn't create empty templates, Chirp works on a previously downloaded mage.
