Description

(Firmware: HN5RV01 1)
With some testing, it looks like power level configuration should match Baofeng BF-F8HP.

When downloading with TD-UV5R TriPower model (Med is not available on dropdown):
Phone CHIRP
H Low
M Low
L High

Downloading with model BF-F8HP:
H High

Hi Ken,

Good observation. The TD-UV5R TriPower model was mistakenly made an alias of the Radioddity UV-5RX3 (tri-band) model. As you have discovered, it should have been made and alias of the BF-F8HP (tri-power) model.

I will see if I can move it to the correct base model. Would you attach a current CHIRP Radio Images (*.ing) file to this issue that I can use for testing? Thanks.

I came up with a method for creating my own "image" for testing. A patch has been submitted. The issue will be fixed in the next CHIRP daily build following acceptance of the patch.

Thanks for quickly addressing this. Here's an image downloaded from the TD-UV5R if you'd like an additional test image.
