421
radio's CPU chooses either Lookback time A or B depending on the
422
priority channel activity --Program both times. Priority channel is
423
not busy (no carrier detected). This time is typically set shorter
424
than Lookback B, since the priority ch. should be checked more often
425
to prevent missing a call.
426
 Range : 0.5 to 5.0 s (0.1 s steps)
427
 Default: 0.5 s

437
 Revert Channel Help
438
This feature is not available in TK-762/862 series. In scan mode the
439
radio can be programmed to revert to a certain channel upon PTT. This
440
allows the radio to be customized to the users transmission
441
requirements while using scan. The revert channel types are Selected,
442
Selected plus Talkback, Last Called, Last Used plus Talkback,
443
Priority and Priority plus Talkback. In all cases the user has the
444
capability to manually select a channel for transmission.(this resets
445
the revert to the selected channel)
446
Selected :The radio reverts to the channel set by the channel
447
selector knob prior to scan initiation.
448
Last Called :The radio reverts to the channel upon which a call
449
was last received even if scanning has resumed (power
450
on default = selected channel). This is convenient
451
for users that may commonly receive calls on several
452
channels and desire the radio to always respond on
453
the last call received (especially if the user is not
454
normally able to respond immediately before scan
455
               resumes).
456
 Last Used+Talkback:
457
The radio reverts to the channel which was last
458
transmitted on (power on default = selected channel),
459
however, if a call is received on a channel other
460
than the last transmit channel and PTT is pressed
461
before scanning resumes, the radio "talks back" on the
462
current receive channel (scan resume time is dependent
463
on the Dropout Delay and TX Dwell time settings).
464
If PTT is pressed after scan resumes, the radio will
465
transmit on the last transmit channel. This is
466
convenient for users that always want to transmit on
467
the channel they are currently using and do not want
468
the revert channel to be constantly changed by other
469
channel traffic, but need to immediately respond to
470
calls on any other channel without having to determine
471
which channel the call was received on and then
472
               manually switch to that channel.
473
 Selected+Talkback :
474
The radio reverts to the channel set by the channel
475
selector knob prior to scan initiation, however, if a
476
call is received on a channel other than the selected
477
channel and PTT is pressed before scanning resumes,
478
the radio "talks back" on the current receive channel
479
(scan resume time is dependent on the Dropout Delay
480
and TX Dwell Time settings). If PTT is pressed after
481
scan resumes, the radio will transmit on the selected
482
channel. This is convenient for users who normally
483
want to transmit on the selected channel, but need to
484
immediately respond to calls on any other channel
485
without having to determine which channel the call was
486
received on and then manually switch to that channel.
487
Priority :The radio always reverts to the priority channel.
488
This is convenient for users that almost always need
489
to transmit on the priority channel.
490
 Priority+Talkback
491
:The radio always reverts to the priority channel,
492
however, if a call is received on a channel other
493
than the priority channel and PTT is pressed before
494
scanning resumes, the radio "talks back" on the
495
current receive channel(scan resume time is dependent
496
on the Dropout Delay and TX Dwell Time settings), If
497
PTT is pressed after scan resumes, the radio will
498
transmit on the priority channel, This is convenient
499
for users that almost always need to transmit on the
500
priority channel, but need to immediately respond to
501
calls on any other channel without having to determine

               manually switch to that channel.

 Carrier Operate/Time Operate Help
533
TK-760/762/860/862 series. These models are carrier operate only.
534
This feature can be programmed for one of two functions; Carrier
535
Operate, Time Operate or Off.
536
CO : Selecting "Carrier Operate" causes the scan to stop
537
and restart with the detection of carrier (and QT/DQT
538
if set ) on a channel; this is the traditional type scan
539
           operation.
540
TO : Selecting "Time Operate" causes the scan to stop with
541
the detection of carrier (and QT/DQT if set) on a channel,
542
however, scan resumes when the "Dropout Delay Time"
543
(works as Time Operate Time) expires even if carrier is
544
still present. Refer "Dropout Delay Time" in the scan
545

817
is available as a decode response. "Selective Call" is the special
818
nine digit "structured" DTMF selective calling format which can
819

characters A, B, C, D, "*", or "#". If the radio receives a valid
849

851
subgroup calling. The group call using this Group Code is effective
852
in either Code SQ, or Selective Call feature. The called station by
853
Group Call does not transpond.

1024
subscriber can not program speed dial numbers. This does not prevent
1025
a subscriber from speed dialing if numbers have been programmed. The
1026
System Operator/Manager can pre-program some memory speed dial
