Description
Using Chirps NEXT windows 10.
First time using NEXT for these unite. The initial window sees the proper unit both up and download. Cable problem ??? The radio/software is seeing the cable.
Comment this problem is the best of 2 worlds. would be worse if only unable to download from radio.
My history as KE6JZF: I have used Chirps for many many years windows 7 and programming these alnico radios was no problem in the past.

Are you getting some error message? Please attach a debug log, per the guidelines in How_To_Report_Issues. Just saying "it doesn't work" does not give us much to go on...

Thanks, Dan, for your response. I will forward the info you're asking for, may take a day or two, the radios are in the Kaiser hospital I support.
Yes there was an error flag, I will get a picture of it.

And just to confirm, if you use chirp-legacy it works fine with the same hardware (radio, cable, etc), correct?

Can you try the attached module to see if it works any better?
See the LoadingTestModules instructions for how to load and test this.

Yes, however it has been at least two years since I have downloaded to these units using windows 7. FYI. My windows 7 computer has gone belly up.
I will do as your suggested and download the "test module" and re-try. Action tomorrow.

Feedback using test module. Dave you did a great job. all 4 alnico units worked great. We were able to both upload and download to DR135, DR06, DR435 & DR235.
Attached are all four de-bug reports.
