There are red memory errors and radio does not accept entries into memory bank.

Your debug log is from an older version of chirp and there has been a bug fixed with serial control signals since then. Please try the current version and report back.

It's not working with latest Chirp. It won't connect at all and it crashes the programme.
I'm using a Silicon Labs CP210 chip in the cable, so I know the cable is good. It works with Kenwood's MCP-F6F7 app.
