Description

Is there a way to add the ability to disable transmitting on certain freqs? I'm using the modded firmware and would like to listen to the CHP but I can't seem to find a way to turn off TX. I don't want to TX by mistake.

Thank

  • Target version set to chirp-py3

Are you running the latest? This was (AFAIK) fixed a couple days ago in #10702.

See if the latest chirp-next will disable TX for you.

There is no TX disable in this radio. I'm faking it by setting a negative offset equal to the rx frequency, which results in tx at 0MHz.

It does work on stock firmware, however in the hacked firmware the function that disables/enables TX is often patched to always allow.

I can't check on a real radio right now, but if it enables TX, then i will change he offset to tx in the middle of the 640-850MHz range tat is not supported by the BK4819 chip

the faking works. it disables Tx, a "blip" sounds and "DISABLE" is shown on LCD like on AM channels
