Description
( Note: need to keep using Linux Legacy for now.)
- After updating my Flatpak uing this command:
sudo apt install flatpak
sudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
was sucessfull <<<
I then Ran command: flatpak run com.danplanet.chirp
Got this message:
< my user> @penguin:~$ flatpak run com.danplanet.chirp
Gtk-Message: 14:11:17.815: Failed to load module "atk-bridge"
WARNING: Icon not found
Can this be resolved ?
2.side issue: Where should my newest downloaded of *.flatpak be residing?

Hi Tom,
Dan is no longer building flatpak files for CHIRP, there's a small note at the top (which has now been enlarged) that says
NOTE: These instructions are for python2-based CHIRP-legacy. You almost certainly want to see ChirpOnLinux instead.
Check the ChirpOnLinux page and let us know if those instructions are not working for you. I

I accidentally submitted my previous reply too soon, If you are currently using the flatpak version of CHIRP, you may uninstall it and then check the ChirpOnLinux page to get your system prepared for the newest version.
The download files are marked with .whl and can be found at https://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/chirp_next/ after you choose the latest date folder
