Description

I have programmed my ID-51 using Chirp Daily 20130802.

I have set VHF repeater offset to 600 KHz and UHF to 1.6MHz, as we use here in Italy. I have set up some memories with these offsets for VHF and UHF repeaters, then I have uploaded data to the radio.

UHF offset is properly set at 1.6 MHz on the radio, while VHF offset has been incorrectly set to 480 KHz instead of 600, on all of the memories I have programmed.

After seeing the programming error on the radio, I have re-read the data back from the radio to Chirp, and the offset shown in Chirp, as re-read back from radio, is 600 KHz.

I have then edited one single memory on the radio directly, and set the offset to the correct value of 600 KHz. After reading back the data from the radio again, I still see that every memory in Chirp shows a 600 KHz offset, both the ones that on the radio show 480 KHz offset and the one that on the radio shows 600 KHz offset.

So I presume that somehow Chirp does not set/read the proper value for repeater offset.

Is this still an issue with recent versions? Thanks.

I cannot test it now, because I don't have an ID51 at this time. Sorry.

My ID-51 doesn't seem to do this, therefore I'll close the ticket. Thanks for your feedback!
