Bug #10862
closedCTR +A followed by DELETE greys out data but doesn't delete

Description
I'm trying to create an empty CSV by pressing CTRL +A and DELETE, but it doesn't delete anything. It does work on a single cell elsewhere.
I've attached a log. This is on a Baofeng UV-82.

I can't reproduce this behavior so I'm not sure what you're really saying is going on. You say you're using CSV, but also UV-82, and your debug log shows you opening a UV-82 image.
Please attach the image and/or CSV file you're using and describe a specific set of steps to reproduce the issue. Also please indicate what "greys out" exactly, as there is a delete in the edit menu and the right-click menu. Screenshots would probably help.

Hi, I've attached the disk image file. Here's what I did.
Opened CHIRP program.
Clicked "file" and "open recent"
Selected the disk image file (Sorry, not a CSV file) attached.
Pressed CTRL + A
Pressed DELETE
All the blue (highlighted cells) turn grey, but are not deleted.

Thank you, Dan, you are correct! CTRL-backspace does the trick.
