Description

Opened existing files and noted that I have no power setting column. I noted a Digital column. My goal was to change one channel power setting. I am 84 and maybe I am just missing something, however I just keep thinking I was able in the past to set the power for each channel and I do not remember any Digital column. I have opened all my different alnico files, and all are the same. I have Chirps for many many years.

Attached is a module to test using the procedure described here: LoadingTestModules.

This adds power levels for the DR135. Please see if it works and if the power levels match the radio (meaning if you select high in chirp, the radio agrees, and vice versa). Please check all three power levels and report back.

Dan, I went to the hospital this morning to test the DR-135 module you sent me. Loaded module with no problems.
My finding: First downloaded from radio. All setting were & are set to high.
Second: Changed 3 channel power setting at the computer.
Third: downloaded to radio: download went thru end then Got a Comm error.
Checked radio power seating and all were High.
Fourth: Changed power setting manually to Mid same 3 channels: Uploaded to computer, all channels were High.
Went back and manually checked all channels, they were all Mid power. Tried same with Low power, same all channels Low power.

My conclusion: Looking thru the manual & finding nothing about saving channel power seating, I think these Alinco are setting a power level, Hi, Mid Low, is the seating for all channels, you are unable to set and save a channel power seating.
I hope I am wrong; however, I have worked with these radios for a long time, and I guess I just forgot.

Dan Please accept my Sincere Apologies: I know your time is valuable and I think I have wasted it.

Okay, I'm pretty sure I would have plumbed the power setting through on these radios when I wrote this driver. So I think you're probably right and that they don't actually support it per-channel (lots of radios don't).

So I can close this request then? Thanks for circling back to let me know.
