Description

I have 2 Wouxon KG-UV6D radio's. I noticed that this particular radio is not supported by Chirp. I was wondering if there is a program in the making to accept this radio? There is for the KG-UV6 but not KG-UV6D.

The KG-UV6 selection is what you use for the KG-UV6D and KG-UV6X.

So I tried that and followed the directions about turning the radio off and then back on. All that happens is the display screen lights up a couple times and then a trouble box comes up saying failure to communicate with radio. I'm using windows 11 and a FDTI cord also.

You should attach the debug.log. But it is most likely a problem with the programming cable or connection between it and the radio.
