Pretty sure that this is not a CHIRP issue. Some of the new radios no longer support this setting. But just to be certain do the following.

  1. While the radio is in MR mode, select channel 10
  2. Download from the radio to CHIRP and save to an 'image' file identified as '10'
  3. Select channel 61
  4. Download from the radio to CHIRP and save to an 'image' file identified as '61'
  5. Attach both 'images' to this ticket

Probably. I use the free HxD Hex Editor (https://mh-nexus.de/en/) to compare CHIRP image files.
