Description
Version 0.2.2 , no matter Windows or Linux version , menu File and some parts of other menus are not translated.

I've spent some time on this and have not come up with much.
However, on Windows, I'm able to work around the issue by setting LANG=pl in the system environment variables (or before execution at a command prompt). I'm not able to get that to work on Linux (even though it should), but I think that might be because I'm missing the corresponding language packages on my system.
GTK seems to not respond to my attempts to set that environment variable from within chirp (not sure why that is). So, I'll leave this open, but blocked, and targeted for the next release so as not to hold up the build. I think that's reasonable since there's a workaround.
