I read the instructions above:

Description

  1. What is the behavior you are seeing? no errors, radio loads up well. but when I want to select a Bank to scan I can do it in VFO A, in VFO B it just hangs on one bank or shows NO BANK. VFO A lets you select a Bank and works properly.
  2. What is the behavior you were expecting?
to be able to scan a Bank from both vfo's independently
  3. Can you reproduce the problem all the time? Yes after an upload to the radio from CHIRP - NOTE: I was able to resolve the issue by using the Yaesu ADMS software, downloading from the radio, then uploading BACK to the radio, it seemed to clear the problem.
  4. What are the steps required to reproduce the problem? after entering some memories and creating some custom BANKS, put vfo B into Memory mode by pressing V/M, push BAND key, then F, then BAND. it should now let you move between the BANKS that were created.
  5. Is this specific to a certain radio model (driver) or something that you can reproduce with another radio? I've only had the problem on the FT1DR

I don't have the config handy but it is saved, if you need me to send it please email me and tell me where. .

THANKS
LOVE YOUR SOFTWARE - it's changed HAM radio for me!!!

John

Hi John
I'll try to fix this in the we.

To speed up process can you please upload memory image (file .img from chirp) one without the adms intervention and one after?
Please be careful to make no changes to any other "bit" in the radio, just save img with non working banks, fix with adms then download again to chirp and save.

tnx

Hi John
unluckily I cannot reproduce this problem on my FD1d and your images contains too many changes (including different memory bank association) to be useful.

I'll ask other developers to help but please try make a couple of new images with no changes in between as this is the best to point out the problem

Hi, I have this exact same problem with my FT1XDR. VFO B does not have any of the saved banks, but VFO A is fine. From what I understand, this was due to a firmware change that made banks independent between A & B. So Filippi, try to reproduce with the latest firmware for the radio. If there's anything else I can help to unblock the issue let me know. It is a frustrating issue. Thanks!!

I was thinking a good fix would be to save same banks in VFO A and VFO B.
