Description
Received error "Can't write ..._socket.pyd" while installing v0.2.2. Should I delete the 2/21/2008 version?

Is CHIRP running when you're trying to do the install?
You don't need to delete or uninstall the old version first. The message you're receiving sounds like CHIRP is running and holding that file open. If not, try a reboot and then do the upgrade following.
