closedChirp won't open on my Mac G5.

Description
I have an older Mac and want to run Chirp on it. My OS is 10.5.8. When I click on the icon, it tries to open but that's all. I see it expand and disappear. Anything I can do to run this?

Have you installed the KK7DS Python runtime? See the Install Notes for Mac OS X near the bottom of the Download page.

I'm not a Mac person so I don't know the Mac models. When you say the G5 is old, is it a PowerPC? According to Install Note 4, the PowerPC is not supported.

After looking closer at the properties of this computer, I did find that it is a PowerPC. I'm not a Mac person and wasn't sure what I had. Thank you for responding.
