New Model #2947
closedI have the UV-6R. Can we add it to Chirp for support?

Description
I can offer one of my radios, if someone is willing to add this support. Currently, I am using UV-6R Programming software that I found online. It isn't easy to add lots and I end up resorting to using notepad++ and just adding them (still takes a long time). I am contemplating using Chirp to create the freq lists, and then using python to parse the csv to the .dat for my radio. So, yeah...any thoughts?

Most likely a setting is out of range. Attach a debug.log file.

Pedro,
The low VHF band limit is out of range. It is set to 119. The radio, and CHIRP, only supports from 136 to 174.
