Description

Jim,

Thank you for your detailed response, but I think I might have messed the radio up now. I think its transmit cycle is locked. I had a fellow ham test it out on a vhf repeater and he didn't hear anything. I did a google search and it said that the firmware .img file needs to be downloaded from the link below and fresh firmware needs to be installed. Is this correct and can I do it? Or is the radio bricked. Thanks Jim.

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

Bryan,

I'm going to reject this issue since it is not a CHIRP bug.

Download a "fresh" image from your radio, save it to a CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file and then email it to me so I can take a look at it. After I look at it, I can advise you as to what you must do. Just click my name to get my email address.

Also include in your email which version of CHIRP you are using.
