Description

I've enjoyed the support that CHIRP has enabled so far for the BTECH UV-2501+220. However, Baofeng hasn't released any updated software to adjust the squelch settings for the 2501+220. Current settings for squelch are set to high where I have my Baofeng UV-5R set to receive very well with a wide range of squelch settings.

BTECH does not have any settings in CHIRP to change the squelch values for the 10 squelch values available.

Does anyone know how to find the squelch adjustments in CHIRP for the UV-2501+220? The default settings are too high and normal traffic is filtered out on the UV-2501+220. My UV-5R does just fine as I reset those squelch settings some time ago. But I can't find where to change those settings in CHIRP for the UV-2501+220.

The squelch settings are in an area of upper memory that CHIRP purposely avoids changing.

Baofeng Tech does have the Advanced "Engineer" software for adjusting the squelch thresholds of the UV-2501/UV-5001 and UV-2501+220 on their "download":https://baofengtech.com/download page.
