Description
I've owned this VX-8R for about 5 years and this week obtained a Valley programming cable for it.
After I program this radio, the screen artifacts appear (picture attached)
This is not a defect in the radio screen, as I can change to the APRS screens or the set menu and the artifact is not there.
The artifact also appears when I am in single VFO mode, but it moves to the bottom of the screen, obscuring the barometric pressure.
The artifacts eventually do disappear, but I can't reproduce the method to get it to be removed.
