Description
Just found on Amazon the Pofung UV6R for a great price... Bought it but no software included and CHIRP dowsnt work with it... Need to program 4-5 radios for non profit group and hoping to do so very soon... Please help..

Found on John Miklor's site how to look up firmware... its HDBF-230 and 15.08...... Hope that helps...

I have used the Factory software. It is a bit of a PAIN. I am hoping Chirp is working on supporting this radio.

I understand factory software MAY work but i'm looking to use this program that I understand and like.. Chirp is a great program and makes sense to me.. Thank you for your support..
