I just purchased a BaoFeng UV-5RV2+ and am attempting to use CHRIP to program it and i cant because i keep getting this error.

I submitted a patch for this yesterday afternoon and today's CHIRP daily build should have resolved the issue. Please try it and let me know if it works for you.

I just wanted to say thanks to Tyler for reporting and thanks to Jim for updating. I had this exact same issue last night and was about to tear into my cable to troubleshoot and this solved my issue...so THANKS!!!
