For the fun of it, I would try the Baofeng BF-888 vendor/model selection.

Finally received my radios today.
No luck with latest chirp and selecting Baofeng BF-888 (or any of the other Retevis models).
Software supplied by Retevis works, but is Windows-only.
Would be happy to help out in order to add support for this model, but not sure where to start.
