Description

I'm trying to program my mobile rugged radio RM-25R. There is no software on chirp for this model. However, this is the same radio as the QYT8900, Waccom Mini 8900 and Juentai JT-6188 mini. When I tried to read the radio the using the QYT9900 on chirp, it said to try Waccom 8900. Once I did that you can see the status bar loading the radio info. But then I get an error saying radio the did not enter clone mode. Do I need to have software for rugged or can I use the Waccom? Do I need to select anything in the radio menu at all?
