Description

Anytime I try and add or change a channel frequency in chirp a message pops up: 'Error setting memory: frequency is out of supported range". The range I'm trying to input is between 400-520mhz and is supported by the Baofeng BF-f8hp . Is there an over ride to let me input frequencies anyways?

My guess is that you are not working with a tab that was created by initially downloading from a BF-F8HP radio. If the tab does not say "Baofeng BF-F8HP: (Untitled)*.img" or "Baofeng BF-F8HP: {somefilename}.img", then this is the case. Download from the radios first. Save the tab to a file just in case. Add your frequency and then upload back to your radio.
