Read FAQ
Chirp does not have my radio in the list, but it shows supported on the home page.

Hi Kenny.
I can confirm that the UV2 and UV3 models +are not listed+ on the model drop-down box nor in the model support page https://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/chirp_daily/LATEST/Model_Support.html
Looking at the diver's code I see a note from Dan that suggest that the KG-UVD1P is the same that the KG-UV2 and KG-UV3 at least in the things that Chirp supports.
Please give it a try as the KG-UVD1P and get back to us with the results. If all works ok, bringing it to the drop-down box with it's correct name is trivial, but we need to know it works first.

Yes, the radio is supported - at least the list of Supported Radios suggests so.
As Pavel said, please use the Wouxun KG-UVD1P driver.
