Description

Hi dear friends, I was reading ok the memories of my VX-6R. When I updated the last CHIRP version (CHIRP daily-20180331) cloning doesn't get finalised and after some cloning in progress I get the error message: "An error has occured failed to communicate with the radio: timed out reading from radio"
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can you try going back to the version you were using before and confirm that it still works? You might also try a version from late february if you were upgrading from a much older version.

Looks like something broke starting w/ 2018-03-25. Reports that 3/24 may work.
I suspect a particular commit, more details in #5693, and running some more testing.
