Description
the Baofeng BF-999s (no PLUS) works with most of the same programming software that that the Baofeng BF-888s uses, but the 999s Plus does not. Usually when I try the same software, including CHIRP, I get a "connection refused by radio" error message.

Who is the maker of the KS-317? Is it the same as the BF-999S+? I searched for it and can't find it.

We are at 2023 and we still have the same problem, we cannot configure the handy with the chirp. I bought one of these cheap handys to configure easily and I can't load the frequencies well and nothing vhf...

So finally I was able to find Software for the BF-999Plus
I got software for the ZT-V68 and this works.

now I did have to purchase another lead and driver from amazon, as my old prolific one stopped working.
But as sure as I'm sitting here... I finally got access to the radio and to change my frequencies
