Description

CHIRP prompted me to download and install the latest version of itself, so I did. I replaced 20181205 with 20190112, and now almost all of the text is replaced with squares. I'm not sure if other platforms are affected.

I'm running macOS High Sierra (10.14.2). I get a message upon launch saying Python is not optimized for my Mac and may stop working soon (because it's 32-bit), but that hasn't caused problems before.

I tried opening chirp-daily-20181205 and still had the same problem. Maybe something in the latest macOS update broke text rendering?

Could you please provide a debug log as described in the Wiki: "How To Report Issues"? Thanks! It could provide some indication what Chirp is missing.

Please try the latest Chirp, available as a MacOS Unified Application. As a self-contained application, the likelihood of external influences messing up the display are minimized, and that may resolve your issue.
