I read the instructions above:

Description

When I send data from the radio to the PC, it corrupts some of the data IN THE RADIO. I know this sounds unlikely.
Chirp changes about half of the offset directions to be reverse, and it changes about half of the offset amounts from 600 to 750.
It also duplicates some of the entries, over-writing those that were in those memory spots. It happens every time I try it.
There may be others random changes.
I have struggled with this for some time now.
I have used chirp many times on other radios, so I know basically what I am doing.

I am using a cable from Mark Dunkle KJ6ZWL and he has been very helpful in this, and suggested I send you this info.
He suggested I try the standard Icom software for the radio, so I did and it worked fine.

Thanks for a great program otherwise!

Bob W8ERD

I do not have any dumps etc, as I did not read about that until I came to this site to report the problem. I don't want to go
back to chirp with this radio and start over again.
