Vic, please ask such questions on the "mailing list":http://intrepid.danplanet.com/mailman/listinfo/chirp_users instead of opening a bug report. Also, details such as what radio you wish to program and the operating system of your computer wouldn't hurt.
Select the radio you use, download an image, modify it. Only now you can upload it back to the radio.
