Trying to help a friend program his UV-9R PLUS. CHIRP only sees 23 out of the 128 channels. is there a fix for this? Show Empty is selected as well...

  • Status changed from New to Feedback
  • Target version set to chirp-legacy
  • Model affected changed from UV-9R PLUS to Baofeng UV-9R+
  • Platform changed from Windows to All

Can you give us a few more details, such as whether the channels not displayed are in fact empty? Thanks!

The missing channels are empty on the radio itself. CHIRP doesn't see them and thus, won't let me fill them with channels.

Hi Fred,

It sounds to me like someone has accidentally changed the "Memory Range:" at the top left of the memory style spreadsheet editor. It should be set to [0] - [127] for most Baofeng radios with 128 channels.
