Bug #843
closedFTM-350 Memory Read :: Symbols are read incorrectly by CHIRP
Start date:
05/04/2013
Due date:
% Done:
0%
Estimated time:
Chirp Version:
0.3.0
Model affected:
FTM-350
Platform:
Windows
I read the instructions above:
Description
OS: Windows XP
CHIRP : Daily build 20130503-win32
Radio : Firmware : 1.5
When you import from the Radio, CHIRP does not read the symbols in the Memory Name properly. It reads the alpha-numeric characters properly, but NOT the symbols (like :, ;, @ etc.)
I am attaching 3 files, to help address the issue.
- FTM-350_201305042015.img :: Original image before any programming
- FTM-350-programmed_201305042103.img :: image downloaded after manually programming the radio (first read by CHIRP after manual programming)
- FTM-350_MemoryList.jpg :: Picture taken of the screen showing the different symbols used while programming
Along with that, the usual debug.log file is attached as well.
If you require any other file, please do let me know.
