Description
I have Wouxun KG-UV9D Plus (Upgrade Version), when I try Download from the radio, it raise an error "Unrecognized model variation (03). No memory map for it."
I already try programming cable with FDTI chip, CP2120 chip, CH340 chip, all have the same error.
Can you help? Thank you.

Hello!
I also have a KG-UV9D Plus and use the program from the WOUXUN website. You can try it until the error problem is resolved.

- Tracker changed from Bug to New Model
- Status changed from New to Feedback
- Priority changed from High to Normal
- Target version set to chirp-legacy
- Equipment Loan/Gift Offered set to No
Please refer to the Wiki "How To Report Issues" and provide a debug log while trying your radio with Chirp and the KG-UV9D driver. This could give us the information we need to update the driver. Thanks!

Interesting log. Unfortunately, it looks like a developer needs to look into this and add some code to support an KG-UV9D with the firmware ID "KG-UV9D03.8". The log suggests that the download works for quite a while, before the error comes up.

I see the issue. The driver is exiting due to Rev 03 being detected and the driver is expecting 00 or 02.
Is there anyone with the KG-UV9D Plus (Upgrade Version) on hand to test any changes to resolve this issue. It would be an easy fix, assuming the Upgrade Version uses the same memory map and the non-upgrade version.
