Not able to insert new line // Application hangs on exit after recent update

Description

Since the last update V20210520, I have not been able to add lines to a file. I have imported from radio, opened from file location etc.
The application does not show empty lines when the button is clicked and does not allow the insertion of a new line.
When exiting the application it just hangs and must be forcefully quit.
I have downloaded and re-installed CHIRP again and does not work either.
Have also tried spctl --add $PWD and sudo spctl --master-enable to no avail.
