I read the instructions above:

Description

When I go to file > Recent to open a configuration all past configurations are shown even if I have renamed or removed one.

It would be nice to be able to delete said configurations since some of them were for radios belonging to others that I have no need to retain.

Submission instructions indicate you should attach a debug log to your issue. This debug log should relate to the error you report. It would help to know which version of Chirp you run. Assume it is most recent, as it looks like statement numbers match your report.

You can edit the chirp configuration file with notepad and remove your selected entries from the most recent file list.

Are you looking for a file-exists check when selection a recent-file list entry, with a message box indicating file no longer exists, moved, deleted, renamed? After such message, entry to be removed from recent file list?
